I finally made the leaderboard at Parkview!

Parkview scoreboard Nov 08

I finished my abbriviated 2007-2008 season with a 204.9 average, and also broke my 3-game series record with a 754 (259-257-238), which I bowled with my Scout urethane.

My current aresenal of equipment includes a Columbia Scout urethane (polished), Lane #1 Liberator urethane (dull), Brunswick Wizard reactive resin (wickely dull) and a Hammer 'The Sauce'.

Here's a review I wrote of the Lane #1 Liberator

As you can see, I do a lot of bowling with urethane. I generally play a down-and-in shot, and the smooth arc of a urethane ball compliments my style better than resin.

A quick tip regarding cleaning your bowling ball: There are a number of products sold today for cleaning your bowling ball. Usually sold in small spray bottles for ~$8, they're touted as a must-have product to keep your resin bowling balls working correctly. Cleaning resin balls truly is a necessity, but buying "real" bowling ball cleaners isn't. Get a spray bottle and add 3 parts Windex, 3 parts rubbing alcohol, and 1 part Simple Green. All three are approved by the USBC for cleaning bowling balls during competition, and together they make a fantasic bowling ball cleaner! Plus, you can mix a half-gallon of the stuff for about $10.

I've made a few videos while bowling, which are listed below:

Picking a 4-10 split

Kicking out a "solid" 8-pin

Back to back solid 8 & 9 pins

A nice strike

A strike from ground level

The most marginal 7-pin spare in history
