My first "real" piece of furniture. Made out of red oak (with a banded plywood top) and plywood shelves. Pegged through mortise-and-tenon construction. The stand was the first project I attempted to finish with shellac (brushed on)....it did not go well. Luckily, it sits in a dimly lit corner of the bedroom. :^)
