Kid's desk
Just a little desk I whipped up for my 2.5 year old
son, made of lumber left over from other projects. The painted
frame is made out of poplar, the seat is Honduran mahogany, the
desktop out of a single piece of cherry, and the pencil rail is
made of curly maple. The desktop can be lowered for drawing and
reading, or put into an upright position so it can be used as
a table for eating and the such. The natural wood is finished
with a few coats of medium gloss polymerized tung oil. It was
built completely with hand tools.
