50 states quarter holder

 

 

 

Just a simple curly maple board that my wife uses for showing off her collection of the US states quarters, finished with a couple coats of T&T Danish oil and shellac. The holes in the recesses were so you could poke the quarters out of the holder from the backside. Why is this needed? Because I thought the "quarter-sized" Forstner bit Rockler sells is actually quarter-sized. In fact, Rocker intentionally makes it LARGER than quarter-sized, and doesn't advertise the fact. Once again, I found myself disappointed with the quality of Rockler projects...DON'T BUY FROM THEM!
