Under bed dresser

 

 

 

We have a pretty small house, so finding places to store clothes is important. The wife gets most of the closet and the "real" dresser, so I made myself an underbed dresser. The two drawers are about 2 foot square, and ride on super smooth ball-bearing glides. The carcass and drawers are made of plywood, with the drawer fronts and face frame being made of red oak. Everything is finished with shellac NOTE: In the spring of 2007, I built a similar 3-drawer dresser for under my son's bed.
